"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God."
Matthew 5:9
Christian Conciliators are gifted, called, and equipped to become biblical peacemakers. I have trained
under the auspices of the Institute for Christian Conciliation, a division of Peacemaker Ministries. I
am accountable to the ICC, a local church, a mentor, as well as other spiritual advisors. When serving
as a conciliator, I must abide by the Conciliator's Pledge and the Code of Conduct, and I must
conduct mediations and arbitrations in accordance with the ICC's Christian Conciliation Procedures.

What are My Interests?
What is a Christian Conciliator?
My sole interest is to serve God by helping others reconcile and restore their broken relationships.
Everyone goes through heartbreaking experiences. While it may be difficult to find the strength to
admit our faults, and to ask for forgiveness or forgive someone who has hurt us deeply, we are
compelled to do so as Christians. God loves us so much that he sent his only son to die for us on
the cross. Like the father who welcomes home his prodigal son, and fully forgives him and restores
him to full son status, so we are called to forgive one another. It is in this same calling, that I feel
compelled to help others to find forgiveness and be restored completely in their relationships to God
and one another. God has also given me a heart to help those who are most desperately in need of
help, particularly victims of sexual abuse and trafficking, and to give them the love and guidance they
need to fully recover and move on to live happy and God-honoring lives.
What Has Been My Experience with Peacemaking?
While getting equipped to become a Christian Conciliator, I have felt compelled to prepare also for
inter-denominational and inter-faith reconciliation. As such, I have studied ecumenism and
apologetics, the Cathechism of the Catholic Church, the Chumash, the Qur'an, and other materials on
inter-religious dialogue and peacemaking. As I have progressed in this preparation, God has put
people in my life, Christians and non-Christians, to help them in their business, non-profit, and
personal disputes. I have even helped two Muslims reconcile in a business dispute. And I have
counseled women who are survivors of sexual abuse.
